HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-426CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a ' rPqular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 7„d day of _ August . 19 76 The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt,�eils, Sei5old and Spaeth The following members were absent: None +++ Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-426 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS PROJECT NO. 116 PINETREE POND STORM SEWER PROJECT WHEREAS, the City has undertaken Project No. 116, Pinetree Pond Storm Sewer Improvements, which includes construction of certain storm sewer pipes, ditches, and other improvements, WHEREAS, in order to construct the improvements certain easements are required, WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be necessary, proper and expedient in the interest of the public health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Plymouth for the City to acquire permanent easements, NOW THEREFORE,BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN that the City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence condemnation proceedings for Project No. 116, Pinetree Pond Improvements, for the parcels of property described in the attached exhibit. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _ Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: 'Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: Councilman Hunt not present urigg vote. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
