HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-423q W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of August , 1976 . The following members were present: de. Councilmen Hunt. Neils. Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None t,rt semâ–º Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-423 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT 36TH AVENUE (MISSION RIDGE 2ND ADDITION) BE YT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 36th Avenue from the West Line of the Mission Ridge 1st Addition to approximately 500 west thereof by construction of 7 ton bitumineus interim rural section 24 feet wide with gravel shoulders, filed with the Council on August 2, 1976, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is hereby referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates. Inc. and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvemL-nt as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded byCouncilmanSeibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: mor Hilde. Councilman Hunt_ Neils_ and Seibold The following voted against or abstained: Councilman SpaQth abstained Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
