HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-392CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of July 14 76. The following members were present: ng merbers were absen :t* _Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION'NO. 76- 392 SETTING A DATE FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 515 COUNTY ROAD 9 WATER MAIN WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on July 12, 1976 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the service road on the north side of County Road 9 between Nathan Lane and County Road 16 by the installation of water main lateral, street restoration and all necessary appurtenances , WHEREAS, the Clerk, has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 23rd day of August 1976 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue NorC6 at 7:30 p.m. to pass Upon the proposed assessment and at such time and place ali persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The City Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described.in the assessment roll.
