HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-390CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a.regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of July , 1976 . The following members were present: LaXor Hijdej Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth ng mer..oers were absent:_ None ,rte rnunc;lman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION -NO. 76- 390 SETTING HEARING DATE ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 503 NATHAN LANE STREET IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on July 12. 1976 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving Nathan Lane between County Road 9 and 49th Avenue by the construction of 9 ton bituminous street, concrete curb and gutter with related storm sewer construction between County Road 9 and 45th Avenue and revisions to the Frontage Road at County Road 9; and gravel base construction between 45th Avenue and 49th Avenue, WHEREAS, the City Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspettion, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 23rd day of August, 1976 in the Cuuncil Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd'Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
