The following members were present: �T b�vq�- (rnmrilman Naitc_ SPihnld and Spaeth ine r0 owing members were absent: councilman Hunt Aman Neilsintroduced the following Resolution and moved S aop ion: RESOLUTION NO. 76- 372 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 518 PLYMOUTH FREEWAY CENTER WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of the Plymouth Freeway Center Addition (legally described as that part of the NWh of the SWh of Section 22, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota lying northerly of State Trunk Highway No. 55 and westerly of Interstate Highway No. 494 and westerly of the east line of the west 48.88 rods thereof) by the construction of sanitary sewer. water main, 9 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities, and all necessary appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement is $87.783.00 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $ 19,916.00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 107.699.00 and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNE 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 107,699.00. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning: WATER AREA CHARGE Residential $250/per h acre or dwelling unit; $500/acre Commercial -Industrial $750/per acre 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the Council thereof. Resolution No. 76-3710 . Page 2 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resoltuion was duly seconded by Councilma Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: _ Mayor Hild .
