• Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, held on the 12th day

Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 76-369
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSEp AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 504 ZACHARY LANE STREET IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of Zachary Lane between County
Road 9 and 36th Avenue by the construction of an initial 7 ton bituminous rural street
section without concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, water main and all necessary
appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $ 256,000.00 and the
expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to
$ 82,090.00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 338,090.00
and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be
$ 338,090.00.
2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping,
and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the
existing land use zoning:
WATER AREA CHARGE
Residential $250/per k acre or dwelling unit
Commercial -Industrial $750/per acre
The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every
assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, w thout regard
to cash valuation as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such
proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
