Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, as ecial meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 28th day
of June , 19 76 . The following members were present:

Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
move is adoption:
RESOLUTION #76- 346
DENYING REQUEST OF BLUE JAY RENTAL ENTERPRISES FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO
OPERATE A RENTAL BUSINESS IN A B-3 ZONING DISTRICT (A-614)
WHEREAS, Blue Jay Rental Enterprises, Inc. (Wm. Jasper) has petitioned for approval
of a conditional use permit to operate an equipment rental business at the northwest
corner of South Shore Drive and Highway 55;
AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said petition and has offerred its
recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does deny the petition of Blue Jay Rental Enter-
prises (Wm. Jasper) to operate a rental business at the northwest corner of South
Shore Drive and Highway 55;
FURTHER, that such denial is based on the following reasons and findings:
The proposed use is not consistent with those uses Permitted and Permitted
by Conditional Use Permit in the B-3 Zoning District.
2. The proposed use will be injurious to properties in the area adjacent to
such use by nature of the required outdoor storage of miscellaneous
vehicles and equipment.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
