CITY OF PLYMOUTH
. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on -the 21st day of
June , 19 76 . The following members were present:
Ma or Hilde Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The o owing members were absent: Councilman Hunt
Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved
is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 76-328
ACCEPTING BID
PROJECTS 520,602,604 b 609; 12TH AVENUE, 3RD AND QUEENSLAND,
14TH AND ZANZIBAR AND REINHARD INDUSTRIAL PARK
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of:
1)No. 52D - The improvement of 12th Avenue from Harbor Lane to Juneau Lane by
Wta at�un of sanitary sewer, water main, blacktop street with concrete curb
and gutter and all necessary appurtenances.
2) Project No, 602 - The installation of sanitary sewer and water main from approximately
the intersection of 3rd Avenue and'Queensland Lane westerly to the southeast corner
of the proposed Ferndale North Plat together with a sanitary sewer lift station and
all necessary appurtenances, including street restoration.
3) Pro ect No. 604 - The improvement of 14th Avenue from Vicksburg Lane to Zanzibar Lane
a�nz ar ane from County Road 6 to 13th Avenue and Archer Lane from County Road 6
to 13th Avenue and 13th Avenue from Zanzibar Lane to approximately 150 feet west of
Archer Lane and that portion of the south side of County Road 6 between Weston Lane
and 250 feet west of Archer Lane by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main,
bituminous street and all necessary appurtenances.
4) Project No. 609 - The improvement of 12th Avenue from Xenium Lane to approximately 1100
feet east to the termination of cul-de-sac within the Reinhard Industrial Park (.said
property lying south of the Chicago -Northwestern Railroad right-of-way, east of Xenium
Lane, north of the south side line of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of
Section 34, Township 118, Range 22, and westerly of a line approximately 31.57 feet
west of a line parallel with the west line of the northwest quarter of the northeast
quarter of Section 34, Township 118, Range 22) by the construction of 9 ton bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter, water main, and sanitary sewer, (said sanitary
sewer line being constructed westerly from thein place trunk line lying approximately
300 feet east of the easterly boundary of said plat) storm sewer, and all necessary
appurtenances.
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were
received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Peter Lametti Construction Company of St. Paul, Minnesota is
the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
I. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with Peter Lametti Construction Company of St. Paul, Minnesota in the name
of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota for the improvement of:
.Project No. 520 - The improvement of 12th Avenue from Harbor Lane to Juneau Lane by the
installation of sanitary sewer, water main, blacktop street with concrete curb and gutter
and all necessary appurtenances.
Pro ect No. 602 - The installation of sanitary sewer and water main from approximately
t e intersection of 3rd Avenue and Queensland Lane westerly to the southeast corner
of the proposed Ferndale North plat together with a sanitary sewer lift station and
all necessary appurtenances, including street restoration.
Project No. 604 - The improvement of 14th Avenue from Vicksburg Lane to Zanzibar Lane;
Zanzibar Lane from County Road 6 to 13th Avenue and Archer Lane from County Road 6 to
13th Avenue and 13th Avenue from Zanzibar Lane to approximate 150 feet west of Archer
Lane and that portion of the south side of County Road 6 between Weston Lane and 250
feet west of Archer Lane by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, bituminous
street and all necessary appurtenances.
Pro'ect No. 609 - The improvement of 12th Avenue from Xenium Lane to approximately 1100
eet east to t e termination of cul-de-sac within the Reinhard Industrial Park (said
property lying south of the Chicago -Northwestern Railroad right-of-way, east of Xeniun
Lane, north of the south side line of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of
Section 34, Township 118, Range 22) by the construction of 9 ton bituminous street with
concrete curb and gutter, water main, and sanitary sewer, (said sanitary sewer line bei
constructed westerly from the in place trunk line lying approximately 300 feet east of
the easterly boundary of said plat) storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances.
according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on
file in the office of the City Clerk for the low bid amount of $324,440.49.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils,
Seibold and Snaeth
