Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
th ,ty Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the
day of June , 1976 . The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Hunt. Councily(�s�eSeibold & Spaeth
The following members were absent:
Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION #76-294
APPROVING SITE PLAN AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR F.E.C., INC. (A-670)
WHEREAS, F.E.C., Inc. has requested site plan approval and a conditional use permit
for a food processing and handling equipment manufacturing operation to be located
at the southwest corner of Niagara Lane and 28th Avenue North;
AND, WHEREAS, the Plymouth Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends
its approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request of F.E.C., Inc. for
a site plan and a conditional use permit for a food processing handling equipment
manufacturing operation to be located at the southwest corner of Niagara Lane and
28th Avenue North subject to the following conditions:
1. Posting of a 150%, 18 -month landscape and drainage bond prior to issuance of
building permits.
2. Petitioner provide the City with written easements for Niagara Lane (40 ft.
from centerline) and trailway (40 ft. from right-of-way line across the
entire Niagara Lane frontage).
3. Engineering recommendations be incorporated into the site as per the City Engineer:
4. Incorporation of additional fire hydrants and a fire lane as recommended by
the City Fire Chief.
5. No outdoor storage other than the dumpster which shall be adequately screened.
FURTHER, that a variance be granted for a partial intrusion of driveway areas within
the setback lines in the southeast corner of the site as shown in the site plan.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Cguncilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, _
Seibold 8 SRaCth
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
