Councilmen Neils, Seihnid & 10 Pth The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #76- 291 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH TO EXCEED HEIGHT ALLOWANCE IN AN R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT FOR A STANDPIPE WATER RESERVOIR (A-669) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has requested a conditional use permit to exceed the height allowance for an R-1 (Single Family Residential) Zoning District for a stand- pipe water reservoir located at the northeast corner of County Road 6 and Ferndale Road (Plat 43730, Parcel 1820); AND, WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends its approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the request of the City of Plymouth for a conditional use permit to exceed the height allowance for an R-1 (Single Family Residential) Zoning District for a standpipe water reservoir located at the northeast corner of County Road 6 and Ferndale Road based upon the following reasons: The proposed height of a standpipe water reservoir is necessary in order to provide public health, safety and convenience of the citizens of the City; and, Any detriment to persons residing in the area would not out -weigh the necessity for and the importance of the use proposed and its height for the general welfare of the citizens of Plymouth. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded byand upon vote being taken thereon, the in av following vote or thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, CounrilmPn NPilc, Seibold & Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
