HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-277• CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 17th day of May 19 76. The following members were present: The following members were absent: Councilman Hunt_ introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76- 277 APPROVING LEASE, WITH OPTION OF PURCHASE, OF A 16 INCH, SELF-CONTAINED WOOD/CHUCK WOOD CHIPPER UNIT WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the use of a wood chipper unit to be used as a part of the City's Diseased Tree Control and Sanitation Program, and . WHEREP.y, the City Manager has recommended a lease, with option of purchase, of a 16 inch, self-contained Wood/Chuck wood chipper unit in the amount of $795.00 per month, for a period of 8 months, and WHEREAS, the funds for the said purchase will be appropriated from the tree removal account of the Street Department budget, line 101-172-810. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that staff be directed to enter into this recommended lease with option of purchase for a 16 inch, self-contained Wood/Chuck wood chipper unit in the amount of $795.00 monthly, for a period of 8 months.
