HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-271CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 17th day of May , 1976 . The following members were present: Mayor Hilde. Councilman Hunt, Neils} Spihold and Spapth The following members were absent: none Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-271 APPROVING TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS AND STREET LIGHT AT INTERSECTION OF CSAH 18 AND 36TH AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, it is considered mutually desirable to install two full traffic actuated traffic control signals with mast arms and integral street lights at the intersections of 36th Avenue North with one at the East and one at the West interchange ramps of County State Aid Highway No. 18, and btHEREAS, such intersections, signals and street lights do and will lie, wholly, or in part, within the municipal boundaries of the City of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, the City has expressed its willingness to participate in the construction and operating costs of such traffic control signals and street lights in accordance with established policy for pro rata shares and the existing physical facilities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE ,CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the Mayor and Manager be authorized to enter into Agreement No. PW -08-17-76 with Hennepin County for the participation in the construction and operation of traffic control signals and street liahts on CSAH 18 at 36th Avenue North interchange. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coupcilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt. Neils. Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
