HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-247i CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of May , 19 76 . The following members were present: Mayo's Hilda C.nun:ilmen The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-247 AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR GRANT-IN-AID FOR RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY OWNERS FOR DISEASED TREE PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture provides matching grant-in-aid to assist in the removal and disposal of diseased trees pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 18.023, and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has made application for these matching funds, and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has been awarded a grant of $40,000 from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into a contractual agreement with the Minnesota Depa.Uent of Agriculture, to secure this $40,000 grant. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilnen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted aga nst or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
