Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of
May , 19 76 . The following members were present:

Councilman Hunt introduced the folluviing Resolution and moved
is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 76- 242
AWARDING BID
1976 STREET SURFACING
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the following streets:
1. Project No. 415 - 21st Avenue from Lancaster Lane to Kilmer Lane and Kilmer Lane from
st Avenue to 19th Avenue by the installation of street restoration.
2. Project No. 417 - 24th Avenue North and T.H. 101 in the Imperial Hills 6th Addition
y the installation of 7 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter..
3. Project No. 502 - Comstock Lane, 30th Avenue, 29th Avenue and Black Oaks Lane all within
the Map ei-dell First Addition by the construction of 7 ton bituminous street with
concrete curb and gutter. R,
4. Project No. 505 - 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter on 45th Avenue
from Larch Lane easterly and northerly to the terminus in the cul-de-sac in tie plat
of Shorewood Acres Addition.
5. Project No. 514 - The streets in the Greentree West Addition including the following:
30thv��etween Brockton Lane and Xanthus Lane; 27th Avenue between BrocKton Lane
and Zircon Lane; Alvarado Lane between 30th Avenue and Brockton Lane; Xanthu; Lane
between Zircon Lane and County Road 24; Zircon Lane south of 27th Avenue to the south
line of the Greentree West Addition and the following cul-de-sacs: Alvarado Lane
north to 30th Aveaue; Alvarado Lane south to 27th Avenue; 26th Avenue west of Zircon
Lane; 27th Avenue southeast of Xanthus Lane; 28th Avenue southeast of Xanthus Lane;
also Brockton Lane between County Road 24 and approximately 1400 feet south of
County Road 24, a portion lying outside of the plat by the installation of streets
including concrete curb and gutter.
6. Project No. 521 - Olive Lane between County Road 6 and 19th Avenue North by the

7. Project No. 603 - Nathan Lane between 45th Avenue and 49th Avenue by the construction

and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received,opened and tabulated according to
law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Hardrives, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest responsible)
bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:1
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contr+
with Hardrives, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth, for
the improvement of the following:
Project No. 415 - 21st Avenue from Lancaster Lane to Kilmer Lane and Kilmer Lane from

2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
-, next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth.
The following voted against or abstained: none.
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
