HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-1940 CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, aSpecial meeting of . the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 12th day of April , 19_a. The following members were present: Mavgr Hilde. Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: -none Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-194 REJECTING BIDS FOR AERIAL PLATFORM APPARATUS WHEREAS, the City submitted proposals for an Aerial Platform apparatus which were authorized by the City Council on February 2, 1976, and WHEREAS, bids were received on March 9, 1976 and were publicly opened and tabulated according to law, and WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest bid is considerably higher than the amount which was budgeted in the Capital Improvements Program, and WHEREAS, further review of the apparatus has been recommended as outlined in the memorandum from Councilmen Neils and Seibold dated April 12, 1976; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that all bids received on March 9, 1976 are hereby rejected. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmen Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt Neils Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
