R ESOLUTION N O. 2020-188
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING C OOPERATIVE A GREEMENT WITH T HREE R IVERS P ARKS
D ISTRICT FOR THE 2020 S TREET R ECONSTRUCTION P ROJECT (ST209001)
WHEREAS, the Three Rivers Parks District Medicine Lake Regional Trail is located within the
project area for the 2020 Street Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, Three Rivers Parks District desires to improve the Medicine Lake Regional Trail in
conjunction with Plymouth’s 2020 Street Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to convey property rights to Three Rivers Parks District to own,
operate, and maintain the Medicine Lake Regional Trail; and
WHEREAS, a Cooperative Agreement with the Three Rivers Parks District has been prepared in
which the District and the City have agreed to improve Medicine Lake Regional Trail and convey
necessary property rights to operate and maintain Medicine Lake Regional Trail.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Cooperative Agreement between the City of Plymouth and the Three Rivers Park
District for the 2020 Street Reconstruction Project is approved and the Mayor and City Manager are
authorized to execute the Agreement and any Amendments to the Agreement.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 23rd day of June, 2020.
