The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt. Neils—Seibold-and SDaetk- _ The following members were absent: trr sett :•* Cou%ilman H n introduced the following Resolution and Moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #76- 181 APPROVING ALIGNMENT OF COUNTY ROAD 61 WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS AND STATING MAJOR AREAS OF CONCERN THROUGHOUT ALIGNMENT WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed alignment of County Road 61 within the City limits; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the alignment of County Road 61 as per Plan C. Alternate A (referring to County Road 73 intersection) as proposed by the Hennepin County Highway Department noting the following concerns: 1) Moving County Road 10 intersection with County Road 61 to the northeast as far as logically probable and realigning of County Road 10 to effect a smooth interchange and straightening of roadway. 2) Design of County Road 61 at the County Road 9 intersection with due consi- deration for the severe topography of the area. 3) The interrelation of Highway 55 and County Road 61 as concerns the severe traffic problems which may result at such a high volume intersection. 4) That the intersection of County Road 61 north of the intersection with County Road 47 be shifted in a northerly direction so as to accommodate better intersection with new alignment of County Road 10 and, miss the existing houshold structure between 62nd and 63rd on the west side of Hemlock in Maple Grove and leaving a viable piece of land in the southwest quadrant which would be formed by the new alignment of County Road 61 and Hemlock Lane. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neilsand upon vote being taken thereon, the fol owing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The followic-,g voted against or abstained: Nene Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. fine ttttir ttiHr
