CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was a on t e 5th day of
April 19 76, The following members were present:

its adoption:
RESOLUTION #76-175
APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR WHITTAKER METALS WAREHOUSE/OFFICE BUILDING (A-637)
WHEREAS, Whittaker Metals has requested site plan approval for a 70,000 square foot
warehouse/office building to be located at the northwest corner of Xenium Lane and
County Road 15;
AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends
its approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does grant approval of the request of Whittaker
Metals for site plan approval for a 70,000 square foot warehouse/office building
to be located at the northwest corner of Xenium Lane and County Road 15 subject
to the following conditions:
1. No outside storage of waste, garbage or materials.
2. A cash payment of $4,775 ($500/acre X 9.55 acres) to the Park Dedication fund
in lieu of park land dedication.
3. A 150% landscape and paving bond to be posted with the City prior to building
permit issuance. This bond should be for 18 months' duration from the date
cf building permit issuance.
4. The addition of one more fire hydrant at the southeast corner of the building
to provide more adequate fire protection.
5. No sign variances be permitted.
6. The recommendations of the City Engineer relative to storm drainage and utility
easements be made a part of this recommendation.
7. Curb cut locations along County Road 15 and County Road 61 be approved by the
Hennepin County Highway Department.
B. No paving be allowed 'In the setback along the southerly setback line of County
Road 15.

9. That the landscape plan be made consistent with the 14arch 12, 1976 memorandum
of the Staff, in particular that petitioner maintain; the 15 foot minimum width
green strip along the north property line.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt. Neils.
