AWARDING BIDS
1976 POLICE PATROL CARS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for 1976 police cars for the City of
Plymouth bids were received on March,30, 1976 at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated
according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement
for 1976 squad cars.

WHEREAS, it appears that Superior Ford of Minneapolis. Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH.
MINNESOTA:
1. The Manager and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a purchase
a reement with Superior Ford of Minneapolis. Minnesota for the purchase of seven
1976 police cars, intermediate size Torinos with alternate bid for trade in
allowance; the low net bid being $22,283.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a purchase
order has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
a> vor t ea reof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmeh Hunt. Neils, Seibold and Spaeth.
The following voted against or abstained: None.
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
