HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-168• CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 29th day of March , 1976 . The following members were present: Councilmen Hunt. Neils. Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde Actina Mayor Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-168 APPROVING TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON T.H. 55 AT CSAH 154 AND CSAH 6 WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared preliminary plans for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Number 188, renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 55, within the corporate limits of the City of Plymouth from C.S.A.H. 6 to C.S.A.H. 154; and WHEREAS, said preliminary plans are on file in the office of the Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and identified as Layout No. 1 S.P. 2723-57 (55-188) from C.S.A.H. 6 to C.S.A.H. 154; and WHEREAS, copier of said preliminary plans as so marked, labeled, and identified are ,:iso on file in the office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, the term "said preliminary plans" as hereinafter used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and to incorporate the preliminary plans as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and described; NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that said preliminary plans for the improvement of Trunk Highway No. 188, renumbered Trunk Highway No. 55, within the limits of the City of Plymouth be and hereby are approved. The motion for the adoption of the "oregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
