HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-161i CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, aSu meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was a on the 22nd day of March , 19 76 . The following members were present: ng Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-161 REDUuING BOND BASS LAKE PLAZA ADDITION - FILE A-449 WHEREAS, M.G. Astleford, as developer, has platted the Bass Lake Plaza Addition and therein dedicated certain street-- and pursuant to certain provisions of the City Ordinances and Development Contract No. A-449, dated December 31, 1973 have undertaken to construct certain streets and utilities within said plat, and WHEREAS, the developer has requested the City to accept said utilities and streets within said plat, and WHEREAS, the developer has requested that his development bond be reduced to reflect the completed work, and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected said streets and utilities, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the City accept the streets and utilities described above. and 2. That the developer's bond be reduced to reflect the completed work as follows: Description Original Amount Street & Sidewalk $114,620.00 Sanitary Sewer 37,630.00 Water System 36,100.00 Storm Sewer 15,000.00 Blvd. & Drainage Swale 51000.00 Street Signs 150.00 Street Sweeping $209.00 0� Completed Work $ 38,155.00 0.00 0.00 13,000.00 0.00 0.00 0.00 57rsrm Work Remaining $ 74,465.00 37,630.00 36,100.00 2,000.00 5,000.00 150.00 500.00 $T57,84"6a 150% x $209,140.00 = $313,710.00 New bond $157,845 x 150% = $236,767.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the development bond from the Fidelity & Deposit of Maryland in the amount of $313,710.00 for the Bass Lake Plaza Addition be reduced to $236,767.00 to reflect the completed work. Resolution No. 76-161 March 22, 1976 Page 2 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ma or Hilde Councilmen Hunt, Neils Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against ora staine None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
