CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was-fild on the
day of March , 19 76 . The following members were
present: Mayor a and Councilmen Neils and Seibold

Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and

RESOLUTION NO. 76-140
SUPPORTING REC"ENDATIONS OF WEST HENNEPIN COUNTY
TASK FORCE ON DECENTRALIZATION
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Office of Planning and Development has developed
a conceptual proposal for the decentralized provision of County services, and
WHEREAS, the West Hennepin County Task Force on Decentralization has carefully
reviewed the County's decentralization proposal, and
WHEREAS, the Task Force report recommends that prior to any decentralization
plan being developed and/or implemented, that further consideration and
research be made to assure efficient and effective delivery of services,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the City of Plymouth supports the recommendatipns of the
West Hennepin County Task Force on Decentralization, and
BF IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall be sent to Hennepin
County Board of Commissioners to indicate the City of Plymouth's support of
the Task Force recommendations.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol owing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde and Councilmen Neils
and Seibold
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared July passed and adopted.
