The following members were present: ng Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-124 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS•AND COMBINING PROJECT NOS. 415, 417, 502,505,514 AND 521 FOR BIDDING AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council as follows: 1. Project No. 415 November 4, 1974 2. Project No. 417 April 7, 1975 3. Project No. 502 December 16, 1974 4. Project No.505 December 16, 1974 5. Project No. 514 July 7, 1975 6. Project No. 521 July 21, 1975 the City's consulting engineers, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the following street improvements: 1. Project No. 415 - 21st Avenue from Lancaster Lane to Kilmer Lane and Kilmer Lane from st venue to 9th Avenue by the installation of street restoration._ 2. Project No. 417 - 24th Avenue North and T.H. 101 in the Imperial Hills 6th Addition y the installation of 7 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter. • 3. Pro ect No. 502 -Comstock Ln.30th & 29th Avenue and Black Oaks Lane all within the mapledell First Addition by the construction'of 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter. 4. Project No�505 - 7 tort bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter on 45th venue from Larch Lane easterly and northerly to the terminus in the cul-de-sac in the plat of Shorewood Acres Addition. 5.,Pro ect No. 514 - The streets in the Greentree West Addition including the following: venue between Brockton Lane and Xanthus Lane; 27th Avenue between Brockton Lane and Zircon Lane; Alvarado Lane between 30th Avenue and Brockton Lane; Xanthus Lane between Zircon Lane and County Road 24; Zircon L �,1! south of 27th Avenue to the south line of the Greentree West Addition and the fo.iowing cut -de -sacs; Alvarado Lane north to 30th Avenue; Alvarado Lane south to 27t.• Avenue; 26th Avenue west of Zircon Lane; 27th Avenue southeast of Xanthus Lane; 28th :venue southeast of Xanthus Lane; also Brockton Lane between County Road 24 and approxi7+ately 1400 'feet south of County Road 24, a portion lying outside of the plat by the installation of streets including concrete curb and gutter. 6. Project No. 521- Olive Lane between County Road 6 and 19th Avenue North by the insTaT atT T n of bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter. . Project No. 60.' - Nathan Lane between 45th Avenue and 49th Avenue by the construction of rural section bituminous street. Resolution No. 76-124 • • Page 2 March 8, 1976 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESORVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under suc approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done. shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. April 21, 1976 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North by the City Manager and City Engineer and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 p.m. on April 26, 1976 in the Council Chambers and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myor Hilde, Councilmen Neils and Seibold .
