HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-101W W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was e d on the 17th day of February , 19 76 . The following members were present: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen_ Hunt, Neils. Seibold and Spaeth The following mem ers were absent: �,►* ,ter Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-101 ORDERING PREPARATION OF DOCUMENTATION FOR INDUSTRIAL REVENUE BONDS FOR DELTAK CORPORATION WHEREAS, Deltak Corporation has requested Municipal Industrial Revenue Bond assistance for the construction of a manufacturing facility in the Reinhard Industrial Park and has proposed a Memorandum of Agreement toward such assistance, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Deltak Corporation proposal and Memorandum of Agreement as to consistency with established City Policy concerning the issuance of Industrial Revenue Bonds, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does mAke a tentative finding of consistency of the Deltak Corporation proposal with established City Policy with respect to Industrial Revenue Bonds. FURTHER, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said Memorandum of Agreement with Deltak Corporation and proceed with the actions specified by said Agreement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded bywad and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol ow nq voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt and Snaarn The fol y voted against or abstained: Councilmen Neils and Seibold vots.d nay. Whereupon the Resolutior was declared duly passed and adopted.
