HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-091CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of February , 1976 . The following members were present: Actin ria_yor-Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde Councilman S aeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-91 APPROVING INSURANCE SPECIFICATIONS AND RETAINING WILLIAM PEET AS INSURANCE CONSULTANT WHEREAS, the City Manager in his report, dated January 30, 1976, has recommended approval of insurance specifications for which proposals are to be sought, and WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mr. William Peet be retained as the City's consultant to review the specifications, proposals submitted responsive to those specifications, and for the preparation of a written report and recommendations to the Council as to his f;r�ings upon reviewing such proposals, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the insurance specifications as submitted by the City Manager under date of January 30, 1976 and as reviewed by Mr. William Peet be and the same are hereby approved, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mr. William Peet be and the same is hereby retained by this Council as its consultant with respect to this insurance coverage for the purposes of reviewing final specifications, reviewing proposals submitted responsive to the specifications and in preparing and presenting a written report and recommendations to the Council with respect to the most advantageous proposal or combination of proposals for the City to purchase. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CouncilmanNeils and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
