HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-090W, W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of February , 1976 . The following members were present: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde ««« ««« ««« Actina:Mavor_Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-90 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FIRE FIGHTING APPARATUS WHEREAS, the Fire Chief hes prenared specifications for an aerial platform truck and 1250 G.P.M. pumper truck and, WHEREAS, monies have been budgeted in the Revenue Sharing Fund for the pur- chase of this apparatus, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that these specifications are hereby approved and the City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for bids for said apparatus: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the advertisement shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 9, 1976 and will be considered by the City Council on March 22, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 14900 - 23rd Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Treasurer for 5% of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the following- voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, S,Pihnlri anA Snnsth Ine Toiiowing voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pa ««« ««« «««
