HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-027W W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, aregular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of January , 1976 . The following members were present: f. N b l andSpaeth T e n owing mem ers were a sent: None Mayor Hilde introduced the following Res-lution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #76-27 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING EXECUTION TO FILE THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM WITH STATE OF MINNESOTA PLANNING AGENCY WHEREAS, the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act (LAWCON) and the State Natural Resources Fund provide for grants to assist local public bodies in the acquisition and :levelopment of outdoor recreation; and WHEREAS, the Rules and Regulations for LAWCON and the State Natural Resources Fund provide criteria that applications must meet; and WHEREAS, in order for the proposed project to be eligible for approval, there must be proof that it is part of a comprehensive outdoor recreation plan and 5 -year program (capitol improvement); and WHEREAS. the City of Plymouth has an original or revised 5 -year action program which includes Central Park; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH. MINNESOTA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute and to file the 5 -year action pro,7ram with the State of Minnesota, Office of Local and Urban Affairs of the State Planning Agency.
