HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-003CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of January , 1976 . The following members were present: ng members were Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-3 RECEIVING REPORT - LARCH LANE STREET IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted September 15, 1975,, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of Larch Lane from County Road 9 to the Soo Line Railroad Tracks by the construction of a 7 ton design interim section with all necessary appurtenances and this report was received by the Council on January 5, 1976, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $292,500.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 23rd day of February, 1976 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the 0 owing vote to favor t ereo Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth Th-e-Tollowing voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed an adopte .
