HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-684CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of December , 1975 . The following members were present: Mavor. Hilde. Councilmen Hunt. Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-684 RECEIVING PRELIMINARY REPORT AND ORDERING IMPROVEMENT GREENTREE WEST ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted November 17, 1975, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the installation of residential street lighting in the Greentree West Addition, and this report was received by the Council on December 1, 1975, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street light installation in accordance with the report and the assessment of properties in the Greentree West Addition for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398 as amended) at an estimated initial cost of the improvement of $2,538.00. The lights are assessed on an annual basis. 2. The Developer has waived his rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: 'Mayor_Hilde, Councilmen Hunt & Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: Councilman Neils abstained. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
