The following members were present: The o wing mem erg were a sent: Mayor Hilde Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved s adoption: RESOLUTION #75-644 ACCEPTING BID ON IMPERIAL HILLS NEIGHBORHOOD PARK . WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of Imperial Hills Neighborhood Park, bids were received opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER BASE BID ALT. i ALT. 2 ALT. 3 ALT.4 Hennry 0. Mikkelson Co. 23,852.80 Socon, Inc. 24,775.00 Orvedahl Construction Co. 33,698.00 Bituminous Roadways, Inc. 35,882.00 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Arteka, Inc. of Minneapolis is the lowest responsible bidder. . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Arteka, Inc. of Minneapolis, in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of Imperial Hills Neighborhood Park Resolution #75-644 • • Page 2 according to plans and specificiations therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk, for the low bid amount of $23,462.44 which includes Alternate #4 ---Alternates 11, #2 and #3 were rejected. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol lowing voted n avor t ereof: Actina Mayor Hunt. Councilmen Neils, eibold and Spaeth T e following voted against or a stain : n _ Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe and adopted.
