RESOLUTION No. 2009-174
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A DEER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR 2009
WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources and local deer management experts have
suggested a deer management program for the City; and
WHEREAS, City residents do experience nuisance problems from deer and the current deer
population is higher than the recommended level; and
WHEREAS, staff has proposed continuing the successful deer management program including
participation in the annual Metro Deer Bow Hunt and provisional trapping,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA the City Council adopt the Resolution Authorizing the Deer
Management Program for 2009.
