CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was Feld on the 3rd day
of November , 19 75 . The following members were present:
Councilman S aeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75-623
AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR A
HEATING, VENTILATING AND EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Plymouth to reduce
occupationally related illness, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the present heating. ventilating
and exhaust system at the Public Works Garage does not meet the standards
established by the Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration
and has in past been related to occupational illness resulting in a loss
of productive man hours, and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City of Plymouth to make a good faith
compliance with the Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health standards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that in order to eliminate this violation, the
preparation of plans and specifications for a heating, ventilating and
exhaust system, including a heat recovery unit as an alternative,
designed to comply with the standards established by the Minnesota
Occupational Safety and Health Administration is hereby ordered,
not to exceed $500 for plans.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Huntand upon vote being taken thereon, the
