The following members were present: Mayor Oilde. Hunt- Neils- Saihold and Spaptb_.- The following mem rs were a sent: none Councilman 5 aeth introduced the following Resolution and Moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION #75-615 DENYING THE REQUEST OF RICHARD E. MOFN FOR LOT DIVISION OF UNPLATTED PROPERTY (A-635) WHEREAS, Richard E. Moen has requested a lot division of unplatted property located on the west side of Vicksburg Lane and south of the Soo Line Railroad tracks, one lot to be 2.84 acres and the other, 12.19 acres; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and recommends denial of said lot division; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does deny the request of Richard E. Moen for a lot division of unplatted property located on the west side of Vicksburg Lane and south of the Soo Line Railroad tracks to create one lot of 2.84 acres and one of 12.19 acres for the following reasons: 1. Division of unplatted property into parcels of less than five acres in areas not served by public utilities sets an undesirable precedent and is contrary to Resolution #73-37 in regulating urban development. 2. Sound planning -reasons for the proposed division of this parcel have not been demonstrated by the petitioner. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded byCquncilman N and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol ow ng voted in favor thereof: -Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt. Neils. Seibold and Spaeth The 761lowing voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
