Minnesota, was held on the 28th day of October , 19 75 . The following members were present: Mayor Hilde Councilmen Hunt Neils Seibold and Spaeth The follow ng members were absent: none fr# rrt +ter Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-609 AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE PROPERTY, SOIL TESTS AND DESIGN DEVELOPMENT FOR FIRE STATION NO. 2 WHEREAS, the City Manager in his report dated October 22, 1975 has recommended that the Fire Station Building Committee be authorized to proceed with the preliminary negotiations for the acquisition of a site for Fire Station No. 2, and WHEREAS, certain soil tests will be required in conjunction with the selection of the proposed site for Fire Station No. 2, and WHEREAS, the Committee has recommended a program for Fire Station No. 2, including tentative space allocation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that the City Manager and the Fire Station Building Committee be authorized to proceed with the initial negotiations for the acquisition of a site for Fire Station No. 2 and FURTHER that they be authorized to proceed with the initial negotiations for the acquisition of a site for Fire Station No. and FURTHER that they be authorized to have the necessary engineering and soil tests taken so as to determine the suitability of such a site and FURTHER that when the preceding steps have been taken to the satisfaction of the Committee, that the architects be authorized to move into preliminary design development for Fire Station No. 2 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: 'Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils Seibold and Spaeth The follow ng voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duty passed and adopted.
