HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-602CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a -regular meeting of We City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of October 19 75 . The following members were present: Hunt. The following members were absent: none Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75- 602 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PRELIMINARY REPORT STREET LIGHTS IMPERIAL HILLS 6TH ADDITION BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the Imperial Hills 6th Addition by the installation of ornamental residential street lights, filed with the Council on October 20, 1975 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement hearings and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary 1, way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: 'Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold Ine following voted against or abstained: i Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly ,r,r+r t** *,►,r
