HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-595V W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of October , 1975 . The following members were present: Mavor.Hildes_Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Saaeth The following members were absent: None Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #75-595 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR HICKS BROS. FURNITURE TO OPERATE A FURNITURE STORE IN A B-3 DISTRICT (A-453) WHEREAS, Hicks Bros. has requested a conditional use permit to operate a furniture store in a B-3 Zoning District; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends its denial; NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINN175OTA that it should and hereby does approve the request of Hicks Bros. Furniture for a conditional use permit to operate a furniture store in a B-3 Zoning District subject to the following conditions: 1. Owner deLignate specifically for petitioner 11 parking sp::es as per Ordinance requirements. 2. Conditional use permit be for a period of one year after which a review of the permit be made. 3. No additional signs other than approved for former tenant, i.e. bicycle shop. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: 'Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: Councilman Hunt Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
