RESOLUTION No. 2009-169
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE SYSTEM CHANGES
TO PLYMOUTH METROLINK
FIXED ROUTES AND DIAL -A -RIDE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth provides transit services pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes Section 473.388; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth receives operating and capital assistance through the
Metropolitan Council for transit services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interests of the City to
utilize transit fiends in the most cost effective manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
That the City hereby adopt this resolution approving the reduction of Plymouth Metrolink
Dial -a -Ride hours, ending weekday service at 6:00 p.m. and eliminating Saturday service,
using Dial -A -Ride buses as shuttle buses during peak hours; and creating efficiencies in
the Plymouth Metrolink fixed route system as listed below effective December 14, 2009.
Eliminate the Route 773 shuttle;
Eliminate the 5:54 a.m., 7:54 a.m. and 4:09 p.m. trips of Route 791 and alter the
route so that the route would travel south on Zachary Lane, east on 36t1' Avenue,
north on Pilgrim Lane to the Four Seasons bus shelter;
Eliminate Route 792;
Dial -A -Ride buses will service the local trips in place of the shuttle buses for
select trips on Routes 740, 741 and 771;
Route 747 at 5:39 a.m. becomes Route 743 shuttle bus at Station 73, covering
Routes 740 and 741;
At 12:10 p.m. and 2:10 p.m., one bus will serve both Routes 774 and 795 and will
be called Route 795. The bus will stop at Station 73 and then proceed as 795 is
today, but eliminating the Pilgrim Lane loop in the route;

Route 776 will be extended to begin at County Road 47 and Vicksburg Lane. The
route will follow the existing route with the elimination of the Cornerstone loop
from -1 th Avenue and Lawndale Lane; and
Route 777 will cover a portion of Route 773; follow the existing route to Xenium
Lane North to Campus Drive to Northwest Boulevard to West Medicine Lake
Drive to Station 73.
