CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was- held on the 6th day
of October 1975 The following members were present:

CREEKWOOD HEIGHTS/ELMHURST GARDEN.; AREA
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted September 15, 1975,
a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the installation
of residential street lighting in the Creekwood Heights/Elmhurst Gardens area, said
lights to be installed at the following locations:
1. Corner of 28th Avenue and Pineview
2. Corner of 28th Avenue and Oakview
3. Corner of 28th Avenue and Norwood
4. On 28th Place between Norwood and West Medicine Lake Boulevard
S. On Oakview between 26th and 28th
6. On Norwood between 26th and 28th
and this report was received by the Council on October 6, 1975
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:

The Council will consider the improvement of such street light installation in
accordance with the report and the assessment of properties in the Creekwood Heights/
Elmhurst Gardens area bounded by Sycamore on the west, West Medicine Lake Boulevard
on the east, 26th Avenue on the south, and 28th Avenue and 28th Place on the north,
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398 as amended) at an estimated initial
total cost of the improvement of $ 600.00. The lights are.assessed on -.an annual basis.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 17th day of
November, 1975 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900
23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice
of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
3. Said project to be financed from the construction fund.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolutlon was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof:- Councilmen Hunt and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained: Councilman Neils abstained
