Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _speeccial meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on tie 29th day of
September , 1975 The following members were present:

Mayor Hilde introduced the following Resolution and moved
s adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75-557
ORDERING REVISION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
PINETREE POND STORM SEWER
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a storm drainage improvement
project is required for the Pinetree Pond area, and
WHEREAS, as part of the Council's continuing study of this project, it has
sought to analyze and evaluate all feasible methods whereby the
cost of the project might be reduced, and
WHEREAS, through various field inspections and meetings with concerned
citizens of the area, numerous suggestions for improvements to
the project have developed which would have the efFect of reducing
the project cost,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that in order to further improve the Pinetree Pond
storm drainage project so as to reduce its total cost while not
compromising the designed requirements in order to provide a
solution for the storm drainage district, that the City Engineer
be directed to include the following changes in the final plans
and specifications for the project:
1. Reduce the pipe size from Pinetree Pond to Hadley Lake from
48" to 36".
2. Eliminate the storm sewer discharge pipe downstream from the
Hadley Lake control structure.
3. Eliminate the pipe from the north side of County Road 6 and
Queensland Lane to Pinetree Pond.
4. Eliminate the pipe from Merrimac Lane to the Olive -Merrimac
Pond and provide for ditch drainage.
5. Reduce the number of pipe crossings and interconnections
within the Pinetree Pond area to the extent feasible.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer with the consulting engineer
be instructed to proceed with the above changes in the plans and
specifications for this project and to return with the final plans
and specifications as soon as practical.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
