The following members were present: �aYor H1 eTd ounc lmenn unt, Seibold and Spaeth The fo ow1Twing members were absent:_ ounciMan Neils Cwjn;ilMpn Spaeth introduced the following Resolution a%d moved s adoption: - RESOLUTION NO. 75- 533 ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS CENTRAL AREA PROJECTS DEFERRED ASSESSMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment of: 1) Central Area Sewer b Water, Project 69-1,0-G. by the construction of sanitary sewer and water and all necessary appurtenances, 2) Central Area Streets, Project 69-8,9-G, by the improinment of streets in the Central Area of Plymouth, 3) Central Area Storm Sewer, Project 69-2D, by the installation of storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances in the Central Area of Plymouth, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH. MINK MINNESOTA: 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto, and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of ten years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1976•and shall bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first instatement shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 1975. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Finance Director pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Director except that no interest shall be charged -if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter pay to the County Finance Director the entire amount•of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be co'ilected and paid over in the same manner as other municipa taxes. RESOLUTION NO. 75-533 Page 2 5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this resolution is $6,807.59. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n avor thereof: Mayor Hilde,`Councilmen Hunt, Seibold and S eth The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. *r►,r
