• Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 8th day
of September , 1975 . The following members were present:
Hild Councilmen Neils. Seibold and Spaeth
he fo owing members were absent: Councilman Hunt
Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75-491
CALLING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WEED ERADICATION AND DESTRUCTION CHARGES
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 25, 1975 the City Clerk
was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for the destruction and eradication
of noxious weeds on certain lands within the City as provided by law, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has i,atified the Council that such proposed assessment has been
completed and filed in the office of the Clerk for public inspection,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall beheld on the 29th day of September, 1975 in the Council Chambers
of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass
upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning
property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard
with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed
assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior
to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement.
The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel
described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor t ereo ayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils and Spaeth
Councilman Seibold was away from the Table.
The following voted against orabstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
