HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-478W W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a s ecial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 8th day of September , 1975 The following members were present: Ma or Hilde Councilmen Neils Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilman Hunt Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its a opt on: RESOLUTION #75-478 DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR BOYD E. WILEMAN TO PARK 11# TON TRUCK AT HIS RESIDENCE AT 2645 SYCAMORE LANE (A-625) WHEREAS, Boyd E. Wileman has requested a conditional use permit to park an 113-2 ton truck at his residence at 2645 Sycamore Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission fi as reviewed said request and recommends its denial; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does deny the request of Boyd E. Wileman for a conditional use permit to allow parking of the ll�j ton truck at his residence at 2645 Sycamore Lane based on the following: 1. The intent of the R-1 District is basically for single family residential use and for those uses that are compatible with single family residences. Large truck parking is not considered compatible. 2. Load limits on residential streets in spring are reduced below the normal 7 ton design carrying capacity. Petitioner's truck could easily exceed such load limits. 3. Effective date of this denial will be January 1, 1976.
