HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-475W W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 8th day of September , 19 75 . The following members were present: Mayor Hilde Councilmen Neils Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilman Hunt Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-475 AUTHORIZING REPAIR OF SANITARY SEWER LIFT STATION WHEREAS, repairs are necessary to the sanitary sewer system at the location of the Waterfront Lift Station in order to curtail excessive infiltration, and WHEREAS, the excessive infiltration at this point in the sanitary sewer system is such in magnitude that it warrants repair based on a cost -benefit ratio. and WHEREAS, the nature of the repair makes it impractical to solicit bids because the extent of the damage cannot be determined until it is uncovered. . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the City Engineer is hereby authorized to negotiate with several contractors to obtain the lowest possible cost to repair the sanitary sewer system at the Waterfront Lift Station. The cost of said repair to be financed from the Sewer Fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 10 tollowing voted in favor t ereo : Moor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold andSpaeth th The fol Towing voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
