CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 8th day
of September , 19 75 . The following members were present:

Mayor Hilde introduced the following Resolution and
moved Its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75-473
CONGRATULATING THE PLYMOUTH MUSIC AND ART FESTIVAL QUEEN
WHEREAS, Ms. Laura Alexander has been duly judged and selected as the first
Plymouth Music and Art Festival Queen, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Alexander will be representing the City of Plymouth in the
Aquatennial Queen of the Lakes contest next summer, as well as other events
throughout this year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and the City Council, on behalf of the
residents of Plymouth, extend to Ms. Alexander their congratulations for
her selection as the first Plymouth Music and Art Festival Queen and best
wishes to her efforts in the next year, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council wish to express their
pleasure in the selection of Ms. Alexander through her demonstration of
character and charm which will be invaluable in terms of influencing other
young people and in the representation of our community.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Miyor Hilde, Courcilmen Neils, Seibold
and Spaeth
