Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on tWp 25th day of
August 1975 . The following members were present:
Mavor Hilde. Councilmen Neils. Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: Councilman Hunt
Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
s adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 7565
CALLING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
DEFERRED ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, by a resolution of the Council passed on August 18, 1975, the City Clerk
was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improvement of:
1) Central Area Sewer and Water. Project 69-1,0-G by the construction of sanitary
sewer and water and all necessary appurtenances,
2) Central Area Streets, Project 69-8,9-G, by the improvement of the streets in the
Central Area of Plymouth,
3) Central Area Storm Sewer, Project 69-2D, by the installation of storm sewer and
all necessary appurtenances in the Central Area of Plymouth.
4) Beacon Heights & Glen Echo Additions, Project 69 -OC, by the installation of water
main and all necessary appurtenances,
5) South Shore Drive from 13th Avenue to Bassett Creek, Project 69 -OD, by the installation
of water main and all necessary appurtenances,
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has now been
completed and filed in the office of the Clerk for public inspection.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of September, 1975 in the City Council Chambers
of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon
such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected
by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such
assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed
assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior
to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The
Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described
in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof, Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold
