HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-464W W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a^s meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was eh ld on the 25th day of August 1975 The following members were present: Hi"P COIT o owing mem ers we re ie'rea sent:_ Councilman Hunt Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-464 CALLING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 411 RANCHVIEW MANOR STREETS WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 18, 1975, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the Quantico Lane cul--de-sac in the Ranchview Manor Addition by the construction of a 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances , WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of September, 1975 in the City Council Chambers at the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning properly affected by such improvement shall be given an opportunity to he heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor t ereo ayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold ar.d Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
