HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-463CITY OF PLY14OUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of August , 19 75 . The following members were present: ng members were Louncilman Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-463 CALLING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 402 - N.E. WATER MAIN TRUNK LOOP WHEREAS, by a resolution of the Council passed on August 18, 1975, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of constructing the Northeast Trunk Water Main between the following points: 2J to approximately 1700 feet south, 2J to 2K, 2K to 2M, 2M to 1H, 1H to lE and lE to 1F; as shown in the Report on Water Distribution for Plymouth, Minnesota dated 1972 and a portion of the Northeast Trunk Water Main between points lI to 1F; 1F to 1B, in accordance with the Report on Water Distribution for Plymouth, dated 1972, and all necessary appurtenances, and . WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 29th day of September, 1975 at the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote f- in favor the Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
