Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75-460
CALLING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 304 HUGHES -JOHNSON ADDITION UTILITIES
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on the 18th day of August, 1975, the
City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving
the streets in the Hughes First and Second Additions and the Roger L. Johnson Addition
by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, drainage facilities and necessary
appurtenances and for previously constructed water trunk main, pumping and storage
facilities, sanitary sewer trunk force main, lift station and interceptor facilities, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that the proposed assessment has been completed I
and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY P.ESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA I
1. A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of September, 1975 in the City Council
Chambers at the City Public Works Building 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m.
to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons
owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to
be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed
assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior
to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement.
The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel
described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, Vre
following voted to favor thereof ------Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold
and Spaeth _
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
