HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-456CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of August , 1975 . The following members were present: Hj1de__CQun,cjlmen Neil�. Seibold and Spaeth The Following me ers were absent: Councilman Hunt t** Councilman Seibold introduced t)e following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-456 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT - PROJECT NO. 403 NORTHWESTERN BELL SITE WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of Nathan Lane between 49th Avenue and 51st Avenue; 49th Avenue between Nathan Lane and County Road 18, 51st Avenue between Nathan Lane and County Road 18 by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, 9 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer as required for street construction and ell necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $ 351,257.28 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount -to $ 53,668.71 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 404,925.99 and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTE, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of st , ,,provement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 404,925.99. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall ;^rthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Soaeth The following voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ri,r iMr* t�c,t
