HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-453CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, wasel-Ti d on the 25th day of August , 1975. The following members were present: Mater Hiilde Councilmen NeilsSeibold and Spaeth The follows ng members were absent: Councilman Hunt Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 75- 453 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 405 10TH AVENUE WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of 10th Avenue between Nathan Lane and County Road 18 by the construction of a nine ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer facilities and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement amounts to $ 38,355.29 and that the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $ 7,610.69 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 45,965.98 and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 45,965.98. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer,shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: mayor Hi de, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The fo owing voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
